It is difficult to tell from this photo, but this shrub has been "pegged" into a wagon wheel shape. The canes have been bent down and are pinned to the ground using landscape staples.

This is one of the flowers up close. Streaks of carmine on the light pink petals.
Madame Driout is a Tea rose with a lovely fragrance. I will try to get a photo of the full bloom. You can always come out and see it for yourself....
