Update photos of the gardens

New sprouts are filling in through the mealy blue salvia. I cut a large quantity to the ground but left some branches so it would not look so barren.

The white mealy salvia (which was cut down to the ground) is up and blooming nicely.

The lemon balm was long and leggy and now likes being small during all this heat.

Mexican milkweed a wonderful host plant for Monarch butterflies and is also a host to other critters. This planting is in an area of the garden not receiving as much supplemental water. Stressed plants are a beacon for problems.

The lawns by the Hacienda are getting minimal waterings. There is a faint blush of green, just enough to show a sign of life.

Rain dances welcome.
