Plan for the future

Strawberry plants are in. Sequoia and Chandler varieties to be exact.

Here in South Central Texas best planting in a sunny winter location that receives a bit of shade during the summer. Now the hard part. Pinch these flowers and fruit off for now. This will allow the plants to focus their energy on their roots to provide a great harvest in February. In addition you will have bigger healthier plants. Get a good organic fertilizer and use it in your garden once a month.
