1901 - Named after the wife of famous rose breeder and nurseryman, Benjamin Cant. Large shrub can be 8 feet wide and tall. Best pruned to 6 feet wide and tall.

A little history

This blog began back in 2008 as a view to the display gardens at the San Antonio retail location. Since then, the author has relocated and the retail location in San Antonio has been closed (July 2012). This blog will remain active and post items relating to the original Antique Rose Emporium location in Brenham, Texas.
