From the New York Times

Peter E. Kukielski, the curator, of the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx has chosen to stop spraying the roses. “You will never know their true disease resistance until you stop spraying,” Mr. Kukielski said.

Heritage (what we call "Antique"), Earthkind, Austin, Kordes, and Pioneer roses are included in the collection of over 600 varieties in this garden. If you have a moment read about this garden's success.

FYI - some of the Kordes climbing roses in our catalog: Dortmund, Westerland, Crimson Glory.
