Eclectic Garden Bloom

Mexican Flame Vine (Senecio confusus USDA Zones 9-11) just planted in the eclectic garden this summer is finally making its way up the iron globe. Naturalizes on fence lines in central Texas but is not evergreen. We will watch this specimen and see how it fairs this winter. Hopefully it will be root hardy as it has been planted for a few months, possibly returning from the seeds it will drop. Little bit of artic air coming our way this week. Highs in the 40's and lows in the 30's.
