1 pm Robbi Will: “Best Perennials & Spring Blooming
Bulbs”
2 - 5 pm Robbi Will is on the grounds to provide personal
instruction on using organics. Let her help you
choose: Spinosade or orange oil? Humate or
molasses? She can help!
2 - 5 pm Gallery of Roses: Experience the variety in form and
fragrance of our wonderful old garden roses
4 - 5 pm Walking Tour: Mike Shoup and Gayle Wehring will
guide guests through our Independence Gardens.
Saturday, November 10, 2012:
10 am Henry Flowers: “Rose: Herb of the Year” followed
by a sampling of rose & herb infused treats
11 am - 2 pm Veritas Gourmet Food Truck will be on the grounds.
Chef Tai was chosen “America’s Favorite Food Truck”
by the Food Network
2 pm Dr. David Bryne: “Roses as Good as ‘Knockouts’”
Dr. Bryne holds the Basye Chair in Rose Breeding &
Genetics at Texas A&M University.
4 pm Mike Shoup: “Empress of the Garden” Mike will
introduce his new book, Empress of the Garden.
A useful tool for selecting roses based on the
personality they bring to the garden.
5 - 7 pm Book signing with Mike Shoup
