Baby pictures

Shooting into the afternoon sun, I was not certain if I would actually get the Cardinal family located in the archway to the Gazebo. It seemed to be time for the 3 babies to learn to fly.
This guy seems pretty content where he is. (Click on the photos to get a closer look.)

Natchitoches Noisette

One little detail I have recently learned about this blogger site is that if you click on a photo a new window will open with the photo enlarged. Great way to actually see the male cardinal sitting on the orchid bush.

Drug out the older camera for this photo. Very tough for me to get the greens to match what I actually see. I blame it on these constantly dreary morning skies. (Could be the amateur behind the camera...)
