As you may know, the Antique Rose Emporium location in San Antonio has been closed for some time now while we have shifted all retail business to our original location in Independence. The gardens and facilities in San Antonio remain intact and it is now time for us to sell this location.

 

A little about the property:

The location at 7561 E. Evans Road consists of about 20 acres located primarily in Comal County with a small portion being in Bexar County. The entire property is within the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone and comes with the permit for 6 acre feet.  About 10 acres is in a flood plain which may restrict future development, and certain access easements are a part of the property. There is ample parking and retail/product display areas. There is a small greenhouse and several other buildings on the property that can be used for sales offices, a gift shop, and storage. The Hacienda is about 2,450 square feet with wide covered porches, full HVAC, full kitchen, restrooms, and storage areas, and can easily accommodate large groups in its open event room. The Casita is about 870 square feet and can be used for smaller events.  There is a water well and septic.

Fall vs. Spring Planting

Your commitment would be to purchase any rose this fall, plant it accordingly and take note of how it is progressing. Come spring, we will send you the same rose (our gift) for you to plant and then compare its performance, throughout the year, to that of the fall rose. We will contact you later to collect your findings so this feedback can be shared with our gardening audience.
